Ukash grows with K3 Retail’s Business Intelligence

Ukash, the international e-money payment method, has implemented K3 Retail’s business intelligence solution and changed its reporting structure to maximise the variety of information that could be derived from the use of its products.
Because of substantial financial and geographic growth in recent years, Ukash needed an accurate, intuitive and transparent reporting structure in place. The ability to structure data to have as many analysis dimensions as possible while providing real-time reporting access to members of the business was vital. For Ukash, identifying and understanding the trends associated with the use of their products is crucial to the long term success of the business.
Ukash is available in over 420,000 physical locations in 57 countries around the world, and is accepted by over 5,000 websites– numbers which are expected to continue to grow. In 2011, Ukash won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category and was also included in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.

Previously, their information was restricted to users of their ERP system, and relied upon manual intervention to execute and distribute reports. The new solution, which went live in January 2012, offers a flexible and specific reporting environment that allows users to ask their own questions and create detailed and individual reports.
