The UK’s only self-service and digital signage exhibition over for another year

KIOSK LONDON EXPO 2013 & DIGITAL SIGNAGE LONDON 2013 drew to a close in London on the 17th October, attracting praise from visitors and exhibitors alike for the quality of this year’s only self- service UK event.

We welcomed visitors from Halfords, Harrods, McDonalds, Costa Coffee, Motorola, The Home Office and many more leading UK businesses. The quality of visitors was exceptional and the event is gathering momentum, 1323 industry professionals visited the show across the two days.

Neil Clark, Director, Evoke commented “We’ve been a supporter of Kiosk London Expo for many years. It attracts top brands that want to offer their consumers the best experiences available on the market using interactive kiosks. For Evoke, this year the conversation was all around bridging the gap between online and offline retail experiences, and keeping consumers in-store and using kiosks as endless isles. Bespoke kiosks for any retail environment attracted many people to the Evoke stand, and there was some real interest in making brands available in any retail setting using kiosks. We made some great connections and have some great ideas to delight our customers now and in the future.”

According to Klaus Trox, CEO & Founder of friendlyway, the Kiosk London Event was extremely succesful.“We presented the friendlyway Multichannel Sales Strategy which improves  customer communication, creates significant more revenue for our clients, increases their overall customer loyalty and is more efficient for them by doing self-service transactions in realtime with higher profits at kiosks or digital enabled self-service counters. We generated many valuable leads from prospects that had solid and significant project plans in mind – all around the entire self-service kiosk industry.“

This year’s open forum had a focus on businesses that have evolved through the use of self-service solutions and technologies. Many speakers delivered real life case studies and finished with a short question and answer session, which was gratefully received.

–       Linda Ralph, UK Sales Director, Mood UK share, “The secret to a fully integrated flagship development”- Case Study, Primark.

–       Julian Rooney, MD, Cammax shared, “Metropolitan Police Multilingual Communications Kiosks were used ahead of the surge in overseas visitors coming to London for the 2012 London Olympics.

–       Mark Worger, Head of Business Development, Elephant Kiosk “Engaging ‘hard-to-reach’ customers through touch technology with examples from the NHS”.

The success of the event is confirmed by the number of companies that have rebooked their stands for next year.

“We were delighted that the event provided a unique platform for visitors to discover the best consumer interactivity in the industry. The number of solution companies who exhibited at the show and the innovation displayed by manufactures was incredible. The high caliber of visitors to the show reinforces the interest in self-service and digital signage throughout the UK market,” commented Jan Back, Event Manager, hf media & events.

Next year’s show will build on the successes of this year and we will be increasing the number of digital signage companies exhibiting at the show which is due to take place on the 15th and 16th October 2014 at The Barbican Exhibition Hall, London.
