The Pour House provides customers with clear signage with help from Episys

The Pour House, a specialty liquor store based in Indiana in the US, has implemented a new signage solution, Immediate Impact™, from global information technology solutions and services company, Episys, to improve the display of prices on all products.

The drinks retailer wanted more consistent signage for all its liquor and wine and was previously creating all signage in house using a variety of printed and hand-written signs. With hundreds of products this was very time consuming and became confusing for their customers.

Anu Patel, Store Manager at The Pour House, said, “The way we used to create our signage was a mixture of hand-written signs stuck onto the edge of shelves as well as some printed signs. It wasn’t clear for our customers which led to confusion and ultimately lost sales. We knew we needed a better system in place and decided to evaluate the market to see what was out there.”

Patel continued, “We discovered that Episys has expertise in all areas of retail, from large retailers with multiple stores right down to small independents. It became clear that Immediate Impact was the solution for us as the results are professional looking signage with minimal work. It is a very simple solution to use and we like the fact it’s one upfront payment followed by monthly payments due every quarter.”

Derek Buchanan, Chief Executive Officer at Episys said, “The Pour House now has a professional and consistent signage solution that is easy to use and allows customers to correctly understand promotions, ultimately leading to a sales uplift.”

Based on the Episys Retail Enterprise Suite, Immediate Impact provides retailers with a user friendly solution that’s easy to learn and easy to use.  Users can create and print professional signage within minutes, and investment in the system is kept to a minimum, with a ‘pay per use’ mechanism that only charges for the signage printed.
