The 20th Annual NAS Design Partnerships Awards – An Evening full of opportunity
Doubling in entry submission numbers compared to 2015, the 20th annual NAS Design Partnership Awards (DPAs) 2016 are shaping up to be a very competitive affair. The highly anticipated winning projects will be revealed on 15th September at the famous BAFTA Theatre, 195 Piccadilly, London, which will be hosted by NAS National President John Bailey.

This year’s awards were open to non-members for the first time and include four international entries. The submitted projects offer a great variety of high calibre fit-outs, ranging from a concept based on a multi-player game to a country mansion, pop-up stores and even a luxury cruise liner. The category with the most entries was ‘Retail’, closely followed by ‘Leisure’.
As a proud supported and investor in the next generation of shopfitters and interior designers, NAS is especially pleased to have received very interesting and original ideas/projects in the Future Designer and Student Model categories. Last year’s winner of the Future Designer of the Year award, interior designer Francesca Parpinel, is a testament to the importance of supporting future talent. Apart from giving her the chance to establish connections in the industry, she has also joined Gensler Architecture full-time, and is currently developing a design for a restaurant in Marylebone.
The DPAs are sponsored by the international construction services company ISG, and leading waste management and recycling solutions company Reconomy. Tickets can be purchased on the Eventbrite website for the price of £55.
