Sheridan&Co adds sparkle to Swarovski window

Sheridan&Co has created the Selfridges windows to launch Swarovski’s debut fragrance, Aura by Swarovski. The fragrance has launched exclusively in Selfridges, Oxford Street this week.

 

The fragrance, developed with the Clarins Fragrance Group, is the first scent to launch following the two groups’ licensing agreement in 2008. The fragrance is inspired by radiance and light, with a visual and olfactive glow, to represent the luminosity of a Swarovski crystal.

 

Sheridan&Co was briefed by Clarins to create two windows for the launch with the theme of “the luminescent fragrance”. Working from Swarovski’s promotional graphics, Sheridan&Co created the feeling of light and movement through the use of materials and lighting.

 

The main visuals of the model and the fragrance flacon in the display are duratrans mounted on lightboxes so light floods through.

 

A specially commissioned three metre crystal column, adorned by thousands of Swarovski crystals and backlit by LED strips, creates a sparkling focal point. Mirror vinyl strips and crystals have been applied to the window to play with the light.

 

The windows are in Selfridges Oxford Street store until 16 March.
