Retail Trust & Retail CEOs to Offer Free Master Classes to First Time Managers

Retail Trust, the only charity looking after all people in retail, has been awarded £30,000 by the George Spencer Trust tohelp 40 first time managers in small/medium sized retailers to develop their skills through a brand new Master Class Programme commencing in February 2012 with top retail CEOs.

 

The aims of the Master Class are to:

 

•           Inspire middle managers in their first retail management role.

•           Learn from ‘masters’ in retail through them sharing their journey and experience

•           Provide an opportunity for middle managers to share and discuss best practice

•           Understand how to apply this learning back to work

 

James Timpson, OBE, Chief Executive, Timpson, will be the first retail CEO to deliver a Master Class with Nigel J L Rothband, Retail Trust’s Chief Executive on Thursday 9th February 2012 at the Fashion Retail Academy in Central London.
