RED selected as finalist in MRC Emerging Technology Awards

New Business Intelligence solution gains industry recognition one month after launch

ReD, a leading global provider of fraud prevention and payment services, today announced its selection as a finalist in the 2013 MRC Emerging Technology Awards (METAwards).

The company has been shortlisted for its ReDi solution; an interactive, self-service Business Intelligence portal that enables merchant customers and partners to directly monitor and better understand the efficiency of their fraud detection and prevention operations. ReDi provides merchants with an up-to-date and historic window on their data, accessed via a simple, quick and intuitive interface that takes the user through layers of information, all the way down to individual transactions, in just a few clicks and just a few seconds.

Awarded by the Merchant Risk Council, the MRC METAwards are designed to recognise creative innovations and advanced technologies that have contributed to the commercial and operational success of online and multi-channel merchants, as well as to the all-round benefit of the ecommerce industry. ReDi was launched in January this year, following successful Beta testing with several large merchant customers in the United States and Europe.

Phil Stothard, Director, Business Intelligence and Data, at ReD commented: “ReDi is much more than a simple reporting tool or set of dashboards – it is a true Business Intelligence and analytics tool providing direct access to the vast amount of data generated as part of ecommerce fraud management.  We believe that the level of direct insight, detail and data currency which ReDprovides to merchants, combined with its speed and ease of use, is unmatched by any other solution of this kind. We are delighted to have received such prominent early recognition for the tool and look forward to enabling more of our customers to benefit from its adoption.”

METAward finalists will deliver short presentations to 1,000 leading e-commerce professionals at the 2013 e-Commerce Payments and Risk Conference in Las Vegas on 28 March, after which the audience will vote live, via mobile text, to determine the winners in each category.
