PSCo to showcase latest videowall technology at In Store Show 2011

Videowall and big screen experts PSCo will be exhibiting at the In Store Show 2011, with a range of the latest large scale display technologies from leading manufacturers including Sharp, Prysm, Orion and NEC. Stand C612 will inspire planners, retailers, brands and architects with the latest creative display solutions, content and interactive software, to truly engage customers in store.

The technologies on offer will include Sharp’s new 60” MLCD videowall panel, the PN-V601, which will feature on the stand and in the show’s ‘Inspiration area’ as a 3×3 videowall. The largest videowall screen on the market, the Sharp 60” enables clients to create huge displays with a tiny number of seams.

Also on display will be the NEC X462UN videowall panel, ideal for the retail environment due to the high quality, bright images it produces, particularly in high ambient light environments such as atriums and shop windows. With a super-thin bezel, the NEC 46” creates stunning seamless displays.

Prysm’s revolutionary Digital Mannequin will be on the stand, fitted with new interactive hardware to create a truly engaging display. A 2.5m tall digital signage column, the product is ideal for recreating the glamour of the catwalk in store to engage and inspire buyers. Five of Prysm’s revolutionary Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) tiles are stacked vertically in custom made casing to compliment the store interior. This runs from a simple plug in and play solution requiring no additional, costly, supporting structures or hassle of refurbishment.

Orion’s Infinite Plasma will also be showcased. The Infinite plasma is ideal for retail, with a tiny seam gap that allows for the creation of stunning seamless videowalls of any size and shape, producing high quality images that are perfect for high end retail environments where aesthetic impact and finish is an important factor.

PSCo is partnering with Engage Productions, the leading facilitators of high-tech solutions for branded environments, and specialist creative content designers Hurricane Media, to demonstrate total display solutions that are perfect for the retail environment.

PSCo Product Manager Louise Hirst says:

“Using videowall and large format display technology in-store enables retailers to showcase branding, point of sale promotions and new products in a dynamic way. To truly engage customers with a large videowall or display, the most important factors are having the latest technologies to work with, producing high quality moving content, and using cutting edge software to make sure this is shown at its best. We are working closely with Engage and Hurricane Media to showcase a range of solutions that are tailored specifically for retail, creating displays that produce crystal clear, vibrant, high resolution images that meet the demands of a high end retail environment.”
