New Dublin showroom for Aurora

Aurora Lighting has opened a state of the art showroom in north Dublin and has transferred operations from Northern Ireland. The centre features an interactive facility giving lighting designers, electrical contractors and product specifiers the chance to road test and understand the very latest technology. The Dublin facility itself is a perfect example of the effectiveness of low energy lighting. Even with every light switched on, the showroom displays run on 400W and the rest of the 6,500sq ft facility runs off just 1.5kW – less than your fridge at home. Taking the company’s popular Aurora Lighting Experience display (ALEX) at its UK headquarters one step further, the Dublin Showroom offers customers an invaluable opportunity to learn how a variety of light sources, colour temperatures and optics enables a variety of lighting effects to be achieved. The facility features two areas – the first dedicated to Aurora’s low energy lighting ranges Luna and Specification LED, and the second displaying the ranges of lighting fittings, power supplies and controls. The low-energy lighting area allows customers to view images of completed retail, residential and commercial projects showing the different lighting effects and applications that can be achieved using modern light sources. In the showroom, customers can examine the colour temperature and light output of low-energy replacements for halogen and incandescent lamps. Aurora’s new services include lighting design, energy audits and site surveys.

Visit Aurora, by appointment only, in North Business Park, Finglas, Dublin, junction 5 of the M50. The showroom is less one minute from the M50 or less than 10 minutes from the M1.
