New areas at The ARC Show 2011

Now entering its sixth year, the ARC Show in January will incorporate two new feature areas based on two sectors increasingly high on the lighting agenda. The Urban Lighting Showcase highlights a sector that has important social and environmental implications. Four stands will show the latest innovations for outdoor public spaces. The Retail Lighting Showcase demonstrates a buoyant market for lighting projects, with retailers focusing reducing their energy consumption, costs and carbon footprints. The Design Gallery, the main decorative feature at the show, has been extended to include more exhibitors. There will also be a NightSeeing program held by urban lighting artist Leni Schwendinger. She will provide a talk encompassing a basic understanding of the systems lighting our cities, followed by a night walk in London. LIF, the LA, SLL, ILE and IALD are supporting the show.
