New Appointment for CJ Services

In-store marketing specialists CJ Services has appointed David Matwij as its new Operations Director to lead the delivery of its growing portfolio of retail implementation projects for leading UK retailers and brands.
Having worked for the natural and organic food group Hain Celestial, who’s head office is based in Melville, New York, Matwij was most recently Managing Director of the UK based division, Hain Celestial UK Ltd – home to FMCG brands including the Daily Bread Sandwich Brand and the Linda McCartney range of vegetarian foods.

Hain Celestial UK Ltd, now known as Hain Daniels, is part of US giant Hain Celestial Group, which recently acquired the Hartley’s, Sun-Pat and Gale’s Robertson’s brands in a deal with Premier Foods.

During his time with Hain Frozen Foods UK, Matwij was responsible for significantly boosting operational efficiency at the company’s Fakenham site, reducing stock levels and increasing customer service levels. Initially engaged as Operations Director, Matwij was promoted to position of Managing Director in March 2010. Prior to joining Hain Celestial Group, Matwij was UK Operations Director for Del Monte fresh produce.
