LONDON DESIGNER OUTLET HITS 85% OCCUPANCY AND WELCOMES A WHOLE HOST OF NEW BRANDS

 

The New Year marks some good news for London Designer Outlet as the Wembley Park based outlet shopping and leisure destination has welcomed its millionth customer and is now 85% let. Following its first Christmas, the outlet centre is also announcing yet more brands joining the already strong line-up over the next few months.

Sports apparel brand New Balance will be joining the impressive cluster of sports names, which already includes Nike, Adidas, Skechers, Asics and Onitsuka Tiger. Bench will also add to the outlet’s urban offering with a range of casual street wear.

Extending the sense of style beyond the wardrobe, London Designer Outlet also welcomes luxury home interiors from Christy, the official towel supplier for Wimbledon, stocking Egyptian cotton towels, bed linen and homewares. Finally, joining the fashion line-up in the 350,000ftcentre, Italian fashion brand Replay will provide shoppers with high quality designer jeans and clothing.

 

The Capital’s first and only designer outlet centre, which attracted over 45,500 shoppers during its opening weekend in October last year, offers discounts of up to 70% on items from retailers ranging from Guess to Superdry to Villeroy & Boch.

 

James Saunders, Chief Operating Officer for London Designer Outlet’s developer, Quintain, said: “We are delighted to welcome some fantastic new names to London Designer Outlet. With the array of fashion, sports and homewares brands at the Centre, bargain hunting continues to be a key draw for many consumers, however London Designer Outlet is so much more than just shopping.  A leisure destination in its own right, the centre also has a brand new nine-screen Cineworld cinema and a wide range of dining options including Ping Pong, Frankie & Benny’s, Cabana, Jimmy’s World Grill and Handmade Burger Co.”

With 10.4 million people living within a 60-minute drive of the centre, and 782,000 people within 20 minute drive, London Designer Outlet has the largest catchment density for any UK outlet.

London Designer Outlet is part of Quintain’s Wembley Park, the major development around Wembley Stadium that will combine outstanding entertainment, shopping, leisure, new homes and public spaces, creating a new destination for London.
