Jigsaw celebrates 40th with a grand re-opening

Fashion retailer ‘Jigsaw’ is celebrating its 40th year on the UK high street with the opening of a brand new store in Chester’s Grosvenor Shopping Centre.

Offering a range of desirable, high quality men’s, women’s and children’s wear, Jigsaw opened its doors to the general public on Thursday 23 February, inviting Chester shoppers to visit the new store and mark the occasion with a glass of pink bubbly and a cupcake.

Jennifer Cheung, Store Manager, said: ‘what a brilliant opening week we have had with many new faces and returning customers from our previous store. We are absolutely delighted with our new location and we look forward to having many more events in store.

“All the compliments and support we have been receiving have been tremendous and we look forward to making a great impact to Chester’s high street and become a valued shopping destination!”

Jigsaw first arrived on Chester’s high street in 2009 and staff have worked hard to ensure the new, larger store, located at the end of St Michael’s Row in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, was ready to launch on time.

Julie Webb, Grosvenor Shopping Centre General Manager, said: “We’re very pleased to be welcoming Jigsaw to the Grosvenor Shopping Centre. The new store puts them right at the heart of shopping in Chester and offers our customers even more choice than ever before.”
