Hear Sarah Baillie, Debenhams’ Digital Development Manager at the Internet Retailing Expo reveal how m-commerce can reshape retail business


Debenhams’ Digital Development Manager Sarah Baillie, will speak to retailers next month about the importance of connecting customers across all touch points to produce a consistent, customer centric journey across all channels when she speaks at IRX 2013.


From tablets and mobile, to click and collect, Debenhams has exploited digital and put a spring in its multichannel step, connecting its customers across all touch points.


Over recent years and as the number of brand touch points grow, Debenhams has focussed its digital strategy on multichannel brand cohesion; providing its customers with the same brand experience across all its conduits, creating a joined up brand experience in both design and functionality, allowing customers to move from one channel to the next without interruption.


Sarah’s session, ‘Putting it all together – Connecting with the customer across all touch points’, will also explore the challenges that traditional high street retailers face in adapting to new digital customer behaviour, from fragmented data systems and departmental collaboration barriers, to ensuring in-store staff are equipped with the same up-to-date product and service knowledge as online customers.
