Industry specialist to spearhead new retail division of THOUGHTWORKS

 

ThoughtWorks, a key player in enterprise Agile development services, has appointed Mark Collin to the role of client principal Europe to develop its new retail division. Previously working for Infogain, Mark brings to the role an unrivalled knowledge and experience in helping retailers to provide a great multi-channel service to customers.

 

Whether building exciting e-commerce platforms, innovating on new channels, bringing insight into customer experience design, or simply consulting on Agile and Continuous Delivery, Mark has considerable experience in the retail industry.

 

Commenting on his new role, Mark Collin, says, “The evolution of the retail industry fascinates me. It moves at such a fast pace that many retailers are struggling to keep up; mainly due to the legacy investments made over the years, which are hampering their ability to provide a truly engaging customer experience. My priority is to help big retailers become more Agile and forward-thinking, and to be innovative sector leaders, these retailers need to become fit for the 21st century.”

 

Mark previously worked as Vice President Europe at Infogain, where he worked with brands including Phones 4 U, Regus, Arriva, Paypoint and Kiddicare, who he helped to become market leaders through a customer experience focused strategy.
