In-store specialist CJ Services continues to innovate and inspire, as major rebrand is unveiled.


Leading UK retail marketing specialist CJ Services today announced that it has adopted a new brand name, unveiling its first wholly redesigned logo since being founded in 1995, along with a major corporate repositioning. The rebranding follows a period of expansion and solutions innovation for the business and will see the company trading under the new name CJ Retail Solutions.

“We have been supporting retailers and brands to deliver in-store success for almost 20 years, and we are proud of that heritage,” says CJ Retail Solutions managing director, Chris Langford. “Our brand name and logo are important indicators of who we are and what we stand for. Now we are taking the opportunity to strengthen and modernise how we represent ourselves to clients across the range of retail markets that we serve.”

The company has made many advances since it first began trading in 1995. Today, it provides a range of retail marketing solutions, offering what the company claims to be the most comprehensive now available from a single provider within the UK market. The rebranding coincides with the firm’s vision strategy for 2014 and beyond, which is focused on repositioning the business in the context of shifting client needs and to better reflect the evolving CJ capabilities. The new branding reflects its determination to focus on qualities that differentiate it from other competitors – retail solutions ‘led by people, supported by innovation’.

The company has always adopted a people focused approach with proactive project management and consultative selling and account management. CJ Retail Solutions is also uniquely placed with its own in-house IT development team that are focused on providing bespoke retail IT systems to monitor, collate and analyse in-store data according to the specific needs of clients. “We have a strong desire, a responsibility even, to offer our retail and brand clients a range of solutions that truly meet their needs in what is a highly competitive and changing retail landscape,” he explains.

Chris continues, “To maximise retail effectiveness, marketers are now becoming hugely reliant on support solutions that did not exist a few years ago. While retailers are adapting traditional business models to encompass the relationships shoppers are forming with mobile and digital technology, everything we do is similarly underpinned by innovation and technology, enabling us to deliver the very best retail solutions.”

Over recent years, the company’s original focus on POS installation and maintenance has given way to a broader focus on store development services, field marketing and retail audits, whilst maintaining its expertise in POS implementation. CJ Retail Solutions now sees its solutions offer as being more strategically orientated, with a focus on providing retail marketers with the knowledge and insights needed to make more informed decisions and drive on-going improvements in return on investment. “We now have a revitalised and consistent identity across everything that we do, all rooted in our positioning as a leading name in dynamic retail solutions,” says Chris.

The new modern and unifying brand identity will stretch across all company divisions, including its innovative and award-winning Contact Solutions business, which offers a fresh approach to FM delivery within the convenience channel.

The logo and associated branding will begin to appear on CJ Retail Solutions marketing, field team uniforms and its fleet of vehicles from mid-February with a new CJ Retail Solutions website at also now live.
