Future of Retail Challenge Competition Deadline Extended Until 30th July
The applications are open until the 30th July for the Future of Retail Challenge 2016 – a two month start-up competition and venture development programme, inviting start-ups to propose innovative tech solutions to some of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the retail industry.
Launched by Venturespring, along with corporate partners Argos, IBM, Iceland and Unilever Foundry, the Challenge is open to early and growth stage start-ups and the winner will be announced in August. Using IBM’s Bluemix® hybrid cloud development platform, entrants have to prototype a retail start-up in one of the competition’s four submission categories including fashion and what’s next in personalised shopping and commerce and smarter merchandising.
The winner will win access to £750,000 of investment, £20,000 of business acceleration support and worldwide exposure for their start-up. To find out more and to enter the Challenge click here.
