Further speakers are announced today for WIRED RETAIL together with Valtech, the inaugural one-day event focusing on the future of retail, taking place on November 24, 2014.

Four newly confirmed speakers on the main stage are: Jason Basmajian, creative director of Gieves & Hawkes on the renewed emphasis on bricks and mortar in the digital age; Romney Evans, cofounder of True Fit, on using data to power discovery and confidence, and converting browsers to buyers; Tracy Yaverbaun of Instagram, on mobile brand experiences for retailers; George Smith, managing director, digital, Valtech UK who will share examples of the digital revolution pushing brands to leapfrog traditional retail channels.

In addition, two further speakers to join the lineup on the Cisco Startup stage are
Steph Fiala, chief operating officer of Flubit, which creates private offers on products customers are ready to buy; Jess Butcher, CMO and cofounder of Blippar, on the dawn of a new era of visual browsing.

The future of retail is driven by ubiquitous connectivity.
