A business coach who built up a hugely successful coaching programme thanks to social media connections will share her expertise with other female business owners at the first event of its kind in London next month.

Mum-of-one Claire Mitchell runs the popular coaching group, The Girls Mean Business(TGMB). She has more than 14,000 fans on Facebook and hundreds of coaching clients around the world.

Claire will be sharing her marketing expertise at TGMB Big Event on 14th September 2013 at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms, where she will be joined by a host of high profile speakers including headline speaker ‘Sales Diva’ Kim Duke who will be flying in from CanadaPersonal Impact And Presentation Skills Expert Esther Stanhope, business coach and former marketing director of Games Workshop Ian Waddelow, and the Coaches’ Coach Karen Rutter.

The event has been organised by Claire, alongside Lise Hardiman of The Really Good Events Company.

As well as the speakers, there will be workshops, expert panel discussions, networking and shopping, followed by ‘The Afterglow’, comprising cocktails, canapés, The Girls Mean Business awards and networking reception.

Claire was prompted to set up The Girls Mean Business Facebook page after being forced to put her former six-figure business into liquidation. She wanted to reach out to other women facing difficulties in business, so set up the page as a forum for business women to vent frustrations or share worries about work.

The amazing feedback she received encouraged her to expand fast, so with an MBA and more than 15 years’ marketing experience under her belt, she decided to set up coaching programmes for women business owners. As word got out, the group grew at an amazing rate – within 3 months there were 3000 fans, and today there are more than 14,000.

To date, the majority of Claire’s clients have found her through Facebook, or via word-of-mouth recommendations.

She now has several hundred coaching clients from all over the UK, Europe, Australia and the US who credit her with dramatically increasing their incomes. Claire also offers free advice and business resources, such as webinars, on her Facebook page, and has thousands of subscribers who regularly receive her blog updates.reatil news

Claire says: “We held TGMB’s first live events earlier this year and they were a massive success. Now I’m thrilled to be hosting our Big Event, which is going to be even bigger and better.
