Eurostop partnership with MetaPack to provide seamless delivery choices for its retailers’ customers

MetaPack delivery systems used by leading UK retailers to integrate with Eurostop e‑fulfilment saving retailers time and money for customer deliveries

Eurostop has announced a new partnership with MetaPack, a provider of e-commerce technology delivery services, by used hundreds of retailers including 80 of the top 100 UK high street brands such as Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, ASOS and B&Q. MetaPack’s systems enable retailers to use any or multiple carriers and are used to ship over 400m parcels a year. The partnership will enable Eurostop to provide retailers with an off-the-shelf module that integrates its e-commerce systems with the MetaPack system.

Eurostop customers will despatch items directly using its e-fulfilment module and the integrated system will pass shipping data across to MetaPack which will produce the label for the parcel and forward the relevant information to the courier.

Shiran Liyanage, General Manager, myMetaPack said: “According to research the majority of retailers report increased customer satisfaction from offering multiple delivery options. Our aim is to make eCommerce delivery more cost effective, convenient and enjoyable by offering this flexibility and choice to consumers and making it easier for retailers to provide exceptional delivery services. Our solution is complementary to Eurostop’s retail systems. With this partnership Eurostop customers will be able to offer a wider range of delivery services to their customers and improve the overall customer experience.”

The MetaPack solution automatically selects the most suitable carrier service for each delivery and provides proactive communication, visibility and control to the retailer. It offers over 200 different couriers, covering more than 3,500 differing delivery services. The new service will save retailers time and ensure that the consumer receives the best service at the best price.

As part of the agreement MetaPack will set up the systems for existing Eurostop customers at no cost.

Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop said; “It has been stated that ‘73% of consumers say they won’t repeat purchase if their delivery experience was poor’*, which means this should be a priority for every retailer. MetaPack is the industry-benchmark system that enables retailers to use any or multiple carriers without the need for costly integrations and guarantees excellent service delivery to maintain that good customer relationship.

“This partnership is a perfect fit for our business model, which has always been about designing systems to support retailers with the best systems to help them deliver the right product to customers, balancing stock levels, customer service and profitability.”
