eCommera appoints former IBM Coremetrics director to spearhead US expansion

eCommera, a pioneering provider of intelligent, multi-channel commerce software has appointed John Squire, former Chief Strategy Officer of IBM Smarter Commerce, as President to head up eCommera Inc. in the US and lead the company’s Retail Predictive Analytics Software division.  John previously served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Coremetrics, the market leader in web analytics, and was responsible for its international success, prior to the acquisition of Coremetrics by IBM.

 

Headquartered in London, eCommera, is the market leader in Europe for analytics driven commerce for retail. eCommera supports over 80 sites across 27 countries – including Clarins, Walmart-owned Asda, House of Fraser, Coty and The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games.

 

eCommera’s strategic move into the US will capitalise on the positive market reception for its patent pending retail predictive analytics software. This software analyses a retailer’s wealth of online and business operational data to recommend specific and targeted actions that are prioritised by their impact on profitability. It’s predictive analytics software is proving highly attractive to online businesses seeking to sustain their growth rates in the difficult global economy.
