Direct Golf UK is on par with new signage system from Episys

Direct Golf UK, the largest multi-channel golf retailer in the UK and Europe, has upgraded its signage solution to Immediate Impact™, from global information technology solutions and services company Episys, to improve its in-store signage facilities. The upgrade allows the retailer to centrally manage its in-store promotions more effectively, ensuring a consistent messaging across all stores and thereby increasing the amount of time staff can spend on the shop floor serving customers.

 

As well as trading through mail order and the internet, Direct Golf UK has 17 stores throughout the UK. The Episys Immediate Impact system will be implemented across all of these stores replacing the existing manual stores process.

 

Neil Bell, Managing Director at Direct Golf UK, said, “The manual production process for our in-store signage became more of a challenge as we expanded our business and we needed to ensure brand consistency ran across all our stores.  Using Immediate Impact will enable us to achieve this. We pride ourselves on providing consistently high level of service across all of our outlets, whether our customers choose to shop in our Cambridge, Farnborough or Huddersfield stores. The look and feel of our in-store signage is an important part of this experience.”

 

Bell continued, “One of the key benefits of the Immediate Impact system, is that it is a cloud based solution and will provide us with a much quicker and simpler set up process for new stores moving forward, of which they have 3 new ones scheduled to open within the next few months.”

 

Derek Buchanan, Chief Executive Officer at Episys, said, “To ensure customer communication is at its optimum, Direct Golf conducted a review of its in-store point of sale materials. While the stores were very diligent in ensuring products were displayed with associated signage, one of the key findings was that there was perhaps too much signage in some places, which could be overpowering and detract from the key aim, which was to ensure that the customer could easily determine products on offer and understand the offer. By using Immediate Impact Direct Golf will be able to offer customers clear, consistent professional looking signage to reflect the quality of the brand.”
