Debenhams opens pop-up store

The doors opened on Thursday at the new Debenhams pop-up store, located just off London’s Carnaby Street and open during London Fashion Week. The pop up shop is a celebration of Debenhams’ new design concept – Edition – allowing the store to bring both the fashion industry’s emerging and established talent to shoppers across the country.

The Edition shop has collections from Jonathan Saunders, Jonathan Kelsey and Preen – the trio of brand new design talent at Debenhams.

The pop-up interior has a boutique feel in black and white with painted vintage furniture. One wall has been reserved for visitors to leave their mark – shoppers can be photographed with their purchases and have them added to the wall with a message or recommendation to others.

Karen Peacock, design director at Debenhams, says: ‘This store will be the first opportunity for fashion followers to get their hands on the designers’ high street Edition ranges – all of which stay true to the mainline collections seen at the spring shows.’

Edition launches in 30 Debenhams stores across the country on Monday 14th February.
