Become a master of retail with a free scholarship to the Oxford Summer School Masters Level

Retail Trust is offering eight scholarships, worth £2,295 + VAT, to the Oxford Summer School Masters Level on 18 – 21 February 2013 at Egrove Park, Oxford. If you are a senior manager in a business with fewer than 1000 employees looking to fast track your career through a FREE scholarship on the most prestigious course in retail, apply now.

Retail Trust, the only charity that looks after all three million people working retail, offers free services including course funding on bira’s Oxford Summer School courses, which allow senior retail personnel to network with other retailers and stretch themselves in a challenging, yet supportive environment.

Delegates are encouraged to find creative solutions to high level strategic issues; mainly the challenges facing retailing today and in the future; in terms of the economy, consumer, government, media, global expansion, technology and innovation.

Through unprecedented access to respected industry leaders and retail professionals, the Oxford Retail Masters Forum helps senior managers to become more effective by giving deeper insights into the performance of a business. Delegates will take away constructive ideas that can be applied to their own businesses.

Speakers at the 2013 course will include: Alan Giles, Fat Face; Michael Ward, Harrods; James Timpson, Timpson; Fraser Longden, B&Q; and Helen Dickinson the new Director General of the BRC.

Applications must be received by 5pm on 26 November 2012. Short-listed candidates will be contacted by 30 November 2012. To apply please fill out an application form, visit www.retailtrust.org.uk/bira .
