Addlux Ltd. introduces ‘Glow-Board’

Addlux Ltd is a company known for its ultra-slim LED panels and a wide range of high-tech LED displays, including the ‘Halo’ display, Media Mirror and Dynamic Light Boxes.

Now Addlux is introducing the first ever battery-operated ‘Glow Board’ to the UK.

The ‘Glow Board’ is an A-Board style display with the major difference being that it is illuminated on both sides. Power to the bright LED-lit display is provided by a rechargeable Lithium-Iron-Phosphate battery with a life of 14 hours and a recharge time of only 7 hours.  The minimum brightness of the display on both sides is 1900 lumen.

The display frame with battery is mounted on a stable weighted base with springs to absorb wind gusts and accidental blows. The entire display unit can be easily moved on wheels by a single person. The ‘Glow Board’ is suitable for indoor, IP65-rated for outdoor use and is available in three sizes: A3 landscape, A1 portrait or A0 portrait. Aluminium clip frames allow for quick and hassle-free poster replacement.

The Lithium-Iron-Phosphate battery was chosen for its long life and durability, as well as for safety and ecological reasons. It is EU-compliant. It can be recharged both on and off the display unit.

Niels Fullerton-Batten, MD of Addlux Ltd, points out, “Our bright, illuminated display stands out at the best of times, but especially on dreary grey days and at night – a definite plus when compared with unlit displays on a High Street crowded with similar style displays. With the long-lasting battery life and short charging time, as well as the easy manoeuvrability of the display unit, the ‘Glow-Board’  provides ideal advertising during standard shop opening times, wheel it in to recharge it during off-business times and wheel it out again when next needed.”

The ‘Glow-Board’ is predestined for use by shops, petrol stations, retail parks, shopping centres, exhibitions, events, airports, train stations, and potentially many more applications.
